12 arrested for 'immoral activities' from hotels

Surunga (Jhapa)- The police on Monday arrested 12 including five Indian nationals from various hotels in Jhapa for engaging in 'immoral activities'.

The police team deputed from Area Police Office, Anarmani arrested them in compromising positions, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Keshav Kumar Thebe. One of those arrested is a hotel owner.
According to police, Bhadrapur Road based 365 Cafe owner including five Indian nationals and two girls have been arrested.

The police also arrested a couple from Nisha Hotel located at the Naya Bus Park of Birtamode and two couples from Mechi Koshi Top in compromising positions, Thebe added. 

Summer heat bears down on people's health in Kailali

Kailali - The rising temperatures in the second week of May have resulted in a high number of patients visiting the Seti Zonal Hospital in Kailali.

The scorching heat of the midsummer has stoked the number of patients suffering from viral fever and other diseases.
Seti Zonal Hospital Emergency Ward In charge, Krishna Bohara, said the consumption of contaminated water compounded by increasing scale of pollution and dust has resulted in people suffering from diarrhea, high fever and jaundice.

Bohara added that around hundred patients visit the hospital on a daily basis seeking treatment for such heat related diseases. RSS
