Equality Foundation, a non-profitable organization, is determined to develop Nepali communities by bringing positive changes in the fields of health, education, commerce and industry through the application of information technology.
The Foundation is dedicated to develop Nepali communities says Dr Bishnu Poudel, President of Equality Foundation, adding that if the foundation becomes able to bring some changes in technology sector, Nepali communities living around the world will definitely shoulder with Equality Foundation in other developmental work. Dr Poudel also added that information technology would be introduced in 27 community schools in Nepal as in the first phase.
Responding to the queries raised by the host in an brief interview, Dr Poudel said that organizations like Bill Gate Foundation, Clinton Foundation including other world famous non-profitable organizations would certainly be attracted to support Equality Foundation in developing Nepali communities if the foundation moved ahead with proper view and plan in bringing changes in the sectors of health, education, commerce and industry through the application of information technology.
Similarly, popular Nepali author Krishna Dharabasi has also shouldered with the foundation in bringing changes in Nepali community. In the brief interview included with this text, Dharabasi said that each and every individual should work together in bringing changes in the community educational institutions of Nepal through an initiative started by a Digital Team under Equality Foundation.
Likewise, Medani Adhikari, CEO of Equality Foundation has urged every Nepali citizen living home and abroad to support the foundation to end digital divide in the home country. Adhikari is with a view that Nepali community should also have an easy access of information technology so as to end the existing digital divide in the community and even in the world.
