Nepal Idol is the first international franchise singing reality sow of Nepal. The judges of the show are Indira Joshi, Nhyoo Bajracharya and Kali Prasad Baskota. The winner of the show will receive a Mahindra KUV plus, cash prize of Rs 20 lakh and an album contract. Similarly, the first runner-up and second runner-up will also receive a cash prize of Rs 15 lakh and Rs 10 lakh respectively.
On Tuesday, two out of top three constants of Nepal Idol- Buddha Lama and Nishan Bhattarai-reached their home town to meet their fans and families. Nishan Bhattarai reached Biratngar by airplane and visited different cities of Sunsari, Morang and Jhapa.
He was welcomed by a huge crowd upon his arrival at the airport. Chief of Biratnagar Metropolitan City Bhim Parajuli had reached airport to welcome the singer.
A huge crowd of people had turned out in Itahari to take a glance of the singer. He was surrounded by fans cheering for him. After police failed to control the crowd, he was taken to Area Police Office, Itahari for security. But, the crowd continued to cheer for him so he appeared from the building for his fans.
