Gautama Buddha also known as Siddhārtha Gautama, Śhakyamuni Buddha or simply the Buddha, after the title of Buddha, was an ascetic (śramaṇa) and sage,on whose teachings Buddhism was founded. He is believed to have lived and taught mostly in the eastern part of ancient India sometime between the sixth and fourth centuries BCE.

The last saying by the Lord Buddha was - be your light yourself. It was the last saying by Buddha before departing. He added that we live your life by our won and travel to funeral place only in the soldiers of others. The saying has to be practiced by human being throughout the life. Our guardians often tell us to ourselves, stand on our stand foot and don't be dependent upon others.

Deepo (or dippa) in Sanskrit means "light," but there is a homonym (a word that sounds the same that means island. If we go to Pali sources, we find the word is Dvippa (island) not Dippa (light).
