Nepal posts 181 runs target for Pakistan

Kathmandu- Nepal has posted 181 runs target for Pakistan U-23 in the ongoing ACC Emerging Cup in Bangladesh on Monday.

Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal made 179 runs losing nine wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Sunil Dhamala was top scorer for Nepal at 43 runs. He made the runs facing 125 balls smashing three fours. Sharad Veswakar made 38 runs facing 59 balls hitting two fours.

Binod Bhandari and Arief Sheikh contributed 24 and 18 runs respectively.

Ghulam Mudassar of Pakistan took five wickets as Sama Mir sent two Nepali batsmen back to the pavilion.

In the tournament, eight teams are participating in the tournament including four under-23 age level teams of Test nations and four top associate teams from Asia.
