Skaters from Nepal to compete in India

Kathmandu- 14 players with 2nd official left for New Delhi, India on Friday to take part in the 1st IPL RS All India Championship and 3rd All India Real Gold Rink Race Roller Skating Championship 2017.

The competition will be held at Najafgarh, New Delhi from 25th March to 26th March 2017.

Nepal Roll Ball Association has selected skaters from Nepal who will be playing with different skaters from India in both 500 meters and 1000 meters rink race.

The team of skaters will be led by the captain of Nepal National Roll Ball Team, Sajib Mahaijan as the team coach and Dikesh Pradhan as the team manager.

Similarly, Bidoog Shrestha, Himkar Singh, Kripal Giri, Gaurav Ghimire, Shriyans Shrestha, Utkrista Pratap Sen, Anshal Shrestha, Sahil Marikhu, Shrayan Kayastha, Sauhard Shrestha, Anras Timalsina, Bikalpa Timalsina, Karunya Pratap Shah and Menla K. Gurung are the selected skaters of Rajarshi Gurukul School, Sallaghari who will be representing Nepal in the championship.

“All the players are in good form and I assure we will bring more gold medals from this championship” said team coach Sajib Maharjan.
