Haribansha Acharya lauds Dhurmus-Suntali

A total of 50 houses built at Bardibas of Mahottari district under the Integrated Model Musahar Settlement (IMMS) project of the Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation were handed over to the Musahar families in the locality on Friday, coinciding with the Nepali New Year 2074.

Comedian duo, popularly known as 'MaHa Jodi', Madan Krishna Shrestha and Haribansha Acharya, handed over the key of the main door of the settlement to the IMMS Management Committee Chair Biltu Sada Musahar.

Speaking on the occasion, famous comedian Acharya lauded the work by Sitaram Kattel aka Dhurmus and Kunjana Ghimire aka Suntali.

"Although they were born many years later we were born. But, they have set an example and can be said as Guru of social campaign in Nepal," he said, "Doing social works is a very difficult task. A small mistake draws huge backslash."

He added that they had called for relief amount from Nepalese around the globe and spent the money for the treatment of people injured in different revolutions including the Second People's Movement and Madhes Revolution.
