After months of silently dealing with a number of controversies propagated by various fringe groups, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced to release the movie Padmavati' as Padmat on 25th January. After getting U/A certificate director Sanjay Leela Bhansali said to release the movie on 25 January but after getting the certificates too, in many states the movie would not be released as the state government has banned to release Padmavt in their states.
The film has got U/A certificates, sources at the film's production banner Viacom18 Motion Pictures told IANS. "Padmavati" -- now "Padmavat" -- was earlier slated for release on December 1 but the studio had voluntarily deferred it following a long-stretched controversy. Padmavat will clash with Akshya Kumar's movie 'Pad Man'.
Padmavati film stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in leading roles and this movie will be clash with a big movie called Pad Man of Akshya Kuamr, so once again there is high chance of Padmavati to postpone its release date. Because, director Bhansali do not wanted to clash his movie with Akshya's Pad Man. So, director Bhansali is trying to release his movie on March instead of January.
