Sridevi won national award

Late actress Sridevi was honored with the best actress national award. The co-star of late Bollywood star Sridevi has honored the actress after she was posthumously named Best Actress for her role as Devki Dabarwal in thriller Mom at the 65th Annual National Film Awards last week.


Sridevi died aged 54 in February, but has continued to be honored as many figures in Bollywood share their memories of the star. On Friday Sridvei’s husband Boney Kapoor who was married to the star from 1996 until her death  announced the win as he took to Twitter to congratulate his wife.


The 62-year-old film producer wrote from himself and his daughters, Khushi and Janhvi: ‘We are overjoyed to know that the Jury has conferred the Best Actress Award to Sridevi for her performance in Mom. It’s a very special moment for all of us. Watch video to know the news in more details...
